CWEF has been elevating women’s lives through the gift of education by providing scholarships enabling the recipients to pursue an education and a career to become more economically self-sufficient. Colorado Women’s Education Foundation’s (CWEF) online profile was screened by CFF to ensure specific standards of transparency and that it is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and the Colorado Secretary of State and is in good standing. Donations to CWEF are tax deductible as charitable contributions to the full extent permitted by law.

What is ColoradoGives Day? and its signature giving day – Colorado Gives Day – make fundraising simple for CWEF and easy and rewarding for our donors. Be a part of the largest one-day giving movements in the country. Each December, Coloradans come together with the common goal to strengthen their community by helping to power nonprofits working in a variety of areas. CFF and FirstBank partner to make this day truly transformative for givers, nonprofits, and the community as a whole. In 2014, a $1 million Incentive Fund was created for ColoradoGives Day. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on ColoradoGives Day received a portion of this incentive fund, increasing the value of every dollar donated. ColoradoGives Day has grown to be the state’s largest one-day online giving event, raising a total of $307 million since it began in 2010.
